The Story

The traditional bed blanket is woven from 100% pure new wool to produce a blanket with high durability and warmth. Pure new wool is natural, insulating, odour resistant and hypoallergenic making these blankets a practical choice to lock in heat on a chilly evening. Created by John Atkinson by Hainsworth, woven and hand-finished in the heart of Yorkshire using skills, knowledge and craftsmanship learned over the last 235 years, these are described as England's finest blankets. A classic champagne beige colour, this colour blends well with various interior designs which means it can be enjoyed for years. The edge is whipped by hand with a stitch edge.
